Moving in to Port-au-Prince

Here are some settling-in photos. The house is nearly unpacked and put away, but it seems to be taking a long time this time around. The guest room is set up and ready for visitors, and that's important!

When we left Mexico, we noticed that the movers were practically papier macheing all our belongings, so we had some preparation for the massive amount of packing material that came out of the moving vans. This is a series of photos of *some* of the boxes after we finished unpacking them.

Sammy Cat couldn't have been much happier when we unpacked his first couch. He spent days stretched out on it, basking.

Sometimes we get to puppysit for one of Guita's best friends, Wally. Wally and Guita give new meaning to the word "rumpus," and then they collapse on the couches. Happily, this is a circular process, and they both pick up again where they left off!

Guita loves being allowed on the furniture, especially after playing with Wally all weekend!

And we have a resident frog!
