It's finally acting like July in DC, and today will be 92 and humid. I'm staying in and basking in the AC. It's the only way to live.
First things first: Ian has a beautiful big beard. It's reached the point of soft, so I made him agree to be captured for posterity.
In other big news, I finally finished my black cardigan. It's got a ruffle, and it makes me feel really good. Sadly, it's wool and not very useful right now, but I think it will come in handy in Mexico City. It looks great with shorts; I'm sure everybody will be dressing like that next year.
Finally, the cats are doing well and preparing for the big move. Here's Sammy, blissfully relaxed, and Hugo channeling a hedgehog.
