Rings!

Last Saturday was meant to be our wedding day, but it turns out that it rained in Portland anyway. Oh well. We did get our rings (eco-friendly metals and gems from www.greenkarat.com) last week. Mine is recycled white gold with lab-grown pink sapphires, and Ian's is recycled titanium with padparadsha sapphires (fiery orange).

In another important step towards adulthood, we got a spiffy camera. I attach the photo of the new camera taken with the old camera; you'll agree it's mighty and big. Someday soon we hope to be taking pictures of monkeys with it to really see its power!

MEXICO CITY!!

Mexico City, here we come! It's going to be great: good weather, good food, good job. We're looking at an end-of-summer departure date, and we're both really excited!

We're still here and still waiting. Ian is suffering intensely with his job (bo-ring) while my State training is getting more and more interesting! The cats are practicing being des chats internationaux or los gatos internacionales, depending on our moods. They might get a new cat tree out of this, so they're cheerful about the impending doom. Silly beasts.
